 GRANDPA'S PICK-HAMMER

This mini pick-hammer was found in an old carpentry storage basement that belonged to my wife's grandpa amongst other tools I will be showcasing later on. The handle was broken and held at it's place with the help of a piece of wire. the metal part was in a bad shape too.

The tool was taken apart.

The old handle and nails were thrown away. A new handle was made from the leg of an old armchair and the head was cleaned and sharpened.

Assembled tool below.

The handle was decorated with black paracord. I used a whipping knot ending it to a bowline knot for hanging.
